Economic development & housing planning

At Saratoga Associates, I work with municipalities across upstate New York on housing, downtowns, and waterfronts. The work includes preparing plans, seeking funding, and administering the projects that receive it.

My funding work includes New York Forward applications for Dolgeville and for the Town of Urbana and Village of Hammondsport, along with applications for parks, waterfront access, recreation, and economic development. I help develop the project narrative and supporting materials, connecting proposed investments to a municipality's plans.

I also work on the administration that follows an award, including work plans, procurement documents, budget amendments, reports, and reimbursement requests. In Urbana, that has included administration of waterfront improvements at Champlin Beach.
